{"id":13045,"date":"2025-04-23T11:58:30","date_gmt":"2025-04-23T14:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rma.adv.br\/?p=13045"},"modified":"2025-05-12T12:02:37","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T15:02:37","slug":"the-change-in-regulatory-standard-1-and-its-main-impacts-on-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rma.adv.br\/en\/23\/04\/2025\/the-change-in-regulatory-standard-1-and-its-main-impacts-on-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"THE CHANGE IN REGULATORY STANDARD 1 AND ITS MAIN IMPACTS ON COMPANIES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Regulatory Standard (NR) 1 is fundamental to ensuring health and safety in the workplace, and is the main one among the 38 existing standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NR 1 regulates the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Defines responsibilities, rights of workers and employers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures a safe environment for employees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifies and analyzes risks in the workplace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishes preventive measures to avoid accidents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emphasizes the prevention of accidents and occupational illnesses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requires documentation and risk management programs by companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicability: NR 1 is applicable to all companies with employees, as defined by the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), including public and private, urban and rural companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Update: NR 1 was recently updated to include mental health in Occupational Risk Management (GRO), addressing psychosocial risks such as stress, moral harassment and work overload.
